The Dental Assistant will provide clinical support by preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, and assisting dentists during procedures. They are also responsible for patient care, including welcoming patients, taking X-rays, and maintaining accurate patient records.
Candidates must have completed a one-year certified dental assistant program and possess at least one year of on-the-job experience. An X-Ray certification is required, and candidates must maintain annual training in OSHA, HIPAA, and CPR.

Clinical Support: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures. Patient Care: Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care. Radiography & Diagnostics: Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models. Compliance & Safety: Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations.. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including scheduling and patient intake (if needed) Helps dentist manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification, emergency drug and oxygen supply, and emergency telephone directory.
Completion of a one-year certified dental assistant program 1 year on-the-job-experience X-Ray certification - Required Nitrous Oxide certification is highly recommended High school diploma or equivalent Dental Assistant are also expected to maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control training as required by law.
