The Senior Research Assistant will contribute to research projects involving genetic, epigenetic, and transcriptomic analyses of pluripotent stem cells. Responsibilities include performing cell culture, molecular techniques, animal research procedures, and maintaining accurate scientific data and databases.
Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in a relevant field and possess at least one year of experience, with a preference for three years. Proficiency in pluripotent stem cell culture and experience in an academic research environment are required.
3 years of relevant research experience, with demonstrated research or clinical experience in cell biology and genetics with laboratory experience with cell culture and molecular biology assays and animal handling experience. Additional Details Monday through Friday, commonly 8:00 – 4:30 or 9:00 – 5:30 position with weekend and holiday call coverage. May be required to work evenings or weekends to cover laboratory cell culture duties and laboratory animal duties. Appointee will be in contact with human, mouse, and primate tissues & fluids and will be responsible for fluid and tissue collection as related to study protocol.
