The Shelter Veterinarian performs surgical sterilizations and provides medical care for shelter, adopted, and feral animals. They also coordinate medical treatments, oversee clinic staff, and ensure compliance with state and federal veterinary regulations.
Candidates must hold a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an accredited institution and possess a current veterinary license in the State of Arizona. A minimum of one year of animal shelter experience is required.
