The Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures according to established protocols while ensuring patient comfort and confidentiality. They also manage exam archiving, maintain equipment, and assist with department workflow and training.
Candidates must have completed an ultrasound technology course and hold current registry certification from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers. Proficiency in anatomy, patient positioning, and medical equipment operation is required.
