- Sleep Medicine Advanced Practitioner Role Scope The Sleep Care Advance Practice Provider works a daytime schedule in an ambulatory setting managing initial patient consultations, and on-going follow up visits to provide quality health care for Sleep Center patients.
- The Sleep Disorders advanced practitioner engages in independent decision-making regarding the health care of individuals, families and groups across the health care continuum, with primary focus on Sleep Medicine.
- As patient care demands, the APRN will collaborate with the Sleep Center’s Physicians, clinical and administrative staff, the patients and their families to facilitate and improve patient care.
- The APRN will provide patient education to enhance their long-term health.

Advanced Practitioner Qualifications · Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Master’s program · Licensed, or eligible to be licensed, as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in the state of Connecticut · Certification, or eligible to be certified, as National Board Certification as an Ambulatory Advanced Practice Registered Nurse · Sleep Medicine Experience preferred · Bilingual preferred, but not required
