The Direct Support Professional assists individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in achieving personal independence goals and daily living activities. Responsibilities include providing personal care, facilitating community outings, monitoring health needs, and maintaining accurate documentation.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver's license held for at least three years. Applicants are also required to obtain PA clearances, including Child Abuse, Criminal, and FBI fingerprinting.
