The Medical Assistant provides clinical and clerical support, including patient rooming and assistance with medical procedures. They are also responsible for cleaning equipment, preparing charts, and managing referrals and lab results.
Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED and hold a Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification. A minimum of three months of experience in a clinical setting and a BLS certification are required.
The Medical Assistant Certified provides clinical and clerical support such as patient rooming in addition to assistance with medical procedures, cleaning of equipment, chart preparation, obtaining referral notes, images and lab results prior to patient visits.
Education High School Diploma or GED Certification Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) BLS from American Red Cross or American Heart Association Work Experience Three (3) months experience in a clinical setting required
