The nurse is responsible for delivering patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. They must also collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient outcomes.
Candidates must be a graduate of a School of Professional Nursing and hold a valid Alabama RN license. A minimum of 5 years of RN experience in clinical settings such as Critical Care or Medical-Surgical nursing is required.
Overview Responsible for the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation; responsible for directing, coordinating all nursing care based on established clinical nursing practices; collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes.
Education: Graduate of an School of Professional Nursing; must provide documented evidence to perform waived testing Experience: Must have 2 years of endoscopy experience or at least 5 years of RN nursing experience in various clinical settings including Surgical Services, Critical Care or Medical-Surgical Nursing. Licenses/Certificates: License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Alabama. Current BLS certification. Current ACLS Certification required or obtained within 90 days of employment
