The Registered Nurse is responsible for coordinating patient-centered care in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit, including monitoring cardiac rhythms and managing patient acuity. They must also collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, document care in the EMR, and provide education to patients and their families.
Candidates must have a minimum of 6 months of RN experience and an active Texas RN license. BLS and ACLS certifications are required, and a BSN is preferred.

Experience Minimum 6 months of RN experience required Med-Surg or Telemetry experience preferred Ability to read and interpret EKG rhythms preferred Active RN license in the State of Texas BLS (AHA required) ACLS (AHA required or preferred based on unit needs) Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred)
