The therapist is responsible for delivering comprehensive therapeutic services, including conducting diagnostic assessments using DSM-5, providing individual, group, and family therapy, and managing assigned caseloads.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant behavioral/mental health field and maintain an active Ohio license (LSW, LISW, LPC, or LPCC).
As a Therapist, you will play a crucial role in delivering comprehensive therapeutic services within the community setting. Your responsibilities will include conducting diagnostic assessments, providing individual and group therapy, and offering case management services to clients.
Clinical Care: Maintain clinical responsibility for the assigned caseload. Proficiently use DSM-5 for diagnostic assessments across various age groups. Provide individual, group, and family psychotherapy interventions. Maintain complete and up-to-date clinical records for all individuals served. Productivity and Performance: Consistently meet productivity goals. Demonstrate satisfactory performance on identified metrics. Efficiently manage caseload, including regular review of case files for audit readiness. Therapeutic Interventions: Utilize clinical interventions to support clients in various areas, including sobriety, coping with mental health challenges, safe lifestyle choices, healthy socialization, suicide prevention, academic success, family restoration, and overall well-being. Acquire and maintain knowledge of community resources to address client needs for support, including sobriety, mental stability, housing, and more. Assess client needs for community resources and facilitate linkage to ensure effective connections. Advocacy and Collaboration: Advocate for assigned clients by collaborating with personal supports and external entities to enhance relationships and promote self-advocacy. Collaborate with referral sources, local agencies, and legal entities as needed to coordinate client care, facilitate referrals, maintain safety standards, and expand client resources.
Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related Behavioral/Mental Health field. Valid license to practice as a Social Worker or Counselor in Ohio (LSW, LISW, LPC, LPCC). Proficiency in iPad usage, including Word and Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems. CPR/First Aid and NCI/CPI Certifications required within 90 days of employment. Must possess a valid Driver's license and maintain an acceptable driving record.
