The Histotechnician performs general histological duties, including the collection, processing, and preservation of tissue specimens for microscopic examination. They also operate laboratory equipment to prepare slides and assist in cytology specimen preparation and data recording.
The position requires a High School diploma or GED, or 10 years of relevant work experience. Candidates must be able to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs and maintaining alertness in a laboratory environment.
