The Physical Therapy Assistant administers physical therapy to patients in their homes on an intermittent basis. They work under the direction and supervision of a Registered Physical Therapist to follow physician orders and established plans of care.
Candidates must be graduates of a two-year college program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association and hold a current state license. A minimum of six months of experience is required, along with the ability to exercise independent judgment.
