The Registered Veterinary Technician is responsible for triaging patients, performing diagnostic tests, and assisting with surgical procedures. They also handle client communication and the administration of medications and catheters to ensure animal well-being.
Candidates must be a Registered Veterinary Technician with at least one year of experience as a technician or assistant. Physical ability to lift up to 40lbs and stand for extended periods is required.

Client communication Triaging patients including basic injury/illness assessment, gathering patient information, and taking vital signs. Performing diagnostic testing including radiographs and lab work Assisting with surgical procedures and patient monitoring Assisting in taking radiographs Giving IV & IM injections Dispensing controlled drugs Placing IV catheters and maintaining feeding tubes and urinary catheters Monitor Surgical procedures. Lab Diagnostics Performs other related duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities Ability to work with or around sick animals, potentially hazardous materials, cleaning chemicals, gas anesthetics, and unpleasant odors. Ability to always communicate professionally and effectively and maintain professionalism in emotionally charged / challenging situations. Ability to provide high quality customer service. Ability to work effectively as a member of a team. Ability to work effectively with computers and electronics.
