The Emergency Veterinarian provides immediate medical and surgical care to animals in urgent health crises to stabilize patients. They are responsible for conducting diagnostic tests, managing critical care, and communicating treatment plans to pet owners.
Candidates must hold a DVM degree and a valid veterinary license to practice in Virginia, with experience in emergency or critical care. Board certification in Emergency and Critical Care (ACVECC) is preferred.

Emergency veterinarians are supported by highly skilled licensed veterinary technicians and support staff allowing you to focus on diagnostics, case management, and clinical decision-making.
