Performs various manual and automated laboratory procedures while exercising independent judgment in reporting results. Actively contributes to the laboratory's quality improvement initiatives.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Biological Sciences, Chemistry, or Life Sciences and one year of relevant laboratory experience. MT(ASCP) certification or equivalent is required.
Performs a wide variety of laboratory procedures using both manual and automated methods. Is expected to show a considerable degree of independent judgment regarding the performance and reporting of results. Actively participates in the quality improvement activities of the laboratory.
MT(ASCP) or equivalent.
Education Bachelor's Degree Medical Technology, Biological Sciences, Chemistry, or Life Sciences with 26 science credits with appropriate experience in a CLIA laboratory Required
Experience 1 year experience in relevant laboratory section Preferred
