Requires a High School Diploma and a current Medical Assistant Certification from a recognized national professional association. Must hold an American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification.
These roles provide direct patient care under the supervision of Registered Nurses or other Medical Professional. These positions primarily focus on assisting patients with activities of daily living while also monitoring vital signs and reporting any changes in patient condition. They also play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and clean environment for patients.

American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required. Current Medical Assistant Certification through a recognized national professional association such as the AAMA (American Association of Medical Assistants), the AMT (American Medical Technologists), NAHP (The National Association of Healthcare Professions), the ARMA (American Registry of Medical Assistants), or the NHA (National Healthcare Association).
