Performs routine diagnostic radiology procedures across various departments, including emergency, intraoperative, and outpatient settings. Responsible for operating C-arms, portable x-ray units, and managing patient imaging through RIS and PAC systems.
Requires a high school diploma and completion of a two-year formal radiologic technology training program. Must hold a valid Rhode Island Radiographer License, ARRT registry eligibility, and current CPR certification.
Qualifications: High school graduation, or equivalent, and satisfactory completion of formal radiologic technology training of two years duration. Ability to meet the requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT). Holds a valid State of Rhode Island Radiograher License. Current CPR certification.Must be able to stand/ squat1-3 hours and walk 3-7 hours, frequent twisting and moderate bending and lift over 50 lbs with good body mechanics. Must be able to use both hands/wrists and perform frequent fine motor skills with moderate repetitions. Requires accurate near and far vision at 20/40, accurate depth perception and discriminate between red-green and blue-violet.
