Provide personal assistance services such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation to frail seniors in their homes. Follow individualized service plans and report changes in participant status to supervisors while filling vacancies across various locations.
Candidates must be at least 18 years old and demonstrate competency in performing assigned tasks. Previous experience in personal care, home health care, or assisting elderly people with daily living activities is required.
Bienvivir All-Inclusive Senior Health (“Bienvivir”) is a community-based, patient-centered, comprehensive health care delivery system that advocates and promotes quality of life, optimum independence, dignity, and choices in a nurturing environment for frail seniors. Since 1987, Bienvivir has served the frail seniors of El Paso, Texas through the provision of the Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (“PACE”).
PACE is a unique managed care benefit for frail seniors (referred to as participants) age 55 and older who are certified by the state as needing nursing home level care and who reside in a PACE service area. PACE programs coordinate and provide comprehensive medical and support services so that participants can remain independent and stay in their homes for as long as safely possible.

Responsible for providing Personal Assistance Services to participants in their place of residence; examples include, but are not limited to, assistance with removing and putting on clothing, bathing, eating, using the restroom, transferring, light housecleaning, and meal preparation. Personal Assistance Services do not include performing medical procedures (e.g., administering shots) or medical monitoring (e.g., takes blood pressure). Follows established individualized service plans for participants under the instruction and supervision of the registered nurse. Assists family members in maximizing participant comfort through the provision of effective home health care and observes and reports any changes in the participant’s status to the assigned supervisor.
The Float PAS Attendant is not assigned to one location. Instead, the Float PAS Attendant will be assigned work in a location or department, to fill vacancies created by leaves of absence, vacation, vacant positions, or anyone who misses work.
1. Must be at least 18 years of age and demonstrate competency to perform the tasks assigned by the supervisor. 2. Previous relevant experience in personal care or home health care, or in assisting frail, elderly people with performing activities of daily living.
