The vascular sonographer at VIP Medical Group plays a pivotal role in supporting our Pain and Vein practice across our Kyle, TX locations.

• We are in search of an energetic individual who is enthusiastic about learning and making valuable contributions to our clinical team.
• What you'll do Perform diagnostic venous duplex ultrasound scans, rule out DVT scans, and post procedure scans.
• Prepare exam room and ultrasound equipment to conduct sonography exams in accordance with patient safety protocols, policies, and procedures.
• Medical intakes.
• Enter medical notes in our EMR system.
• Use sterile technique for procedure set up and prep patients for procedures.
• Assist during procedures.
• Maintain patient privacy in accordance with HIPAA.
• Properly care for Ultrasound equipment and notifies the office if there are any issues.
• Establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with co-workers and members of the health care team.

Qualifications

Associates degree in Medical Sonography. Minimum of one year of experience as a Medical Sonography. EMR systems. Lower extremity/ vascular preferred.

Certification

Certified Medical Sonographer. RVT or RVS preferred.
