Perform routine direct patient care, environmental, and administrative support activities under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Promote the health, safety, and comfort of pediatric patients and their families within a fast-paced medical-surgical unit.
Requires a high school diploma or GED and BLS/CPR certification within two weeks of hire. Preferred qualifications include CNA, Medical Assistant, or EMT certification and previous pediatric PCA experience.
Under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse as part of an inpatient/hospital unit, performs a variety of routine direct patient care, environmental and administrative support activities to promote the health, safety and comfort of patients and families. All patient care and support activities are completed in accordance with CCMC and unit policies and procedures.
