Provide clinical support in an urgent care setting by assisting physicians with exams, procedures, and patient education. Responsibilities include recording vital signs, administering medications, and documenting patient data in the EHR.
Candidates must hold a valid Iowa LPN or RN license or be a Certified Medical Assistant from an accredited program. Prior experience in clinical or outpatient settings and familiarity with EPIC are preferred.
We are seeking a compassionate Clinical Staff Member Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This clinical professional will provide support in patient care, assisting with exams, treatments, and patient education. Assist physicians during patient exams and procedures Room patients, record patient histories, vital signs, and document in the electronic health record (EHR) Administer medications, immunizations, and treatments per scope of licensure Educate patients on health, medications, and follow-up care Coordinate referrals and patient care follow-ups Ensure a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment
Valid and current licensure/certification in the state of Iowa as one of the following: Iowa LPN or RN license Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) – accredited program with certification (AAMA, NCCT, AMT, NHA, NCMA, NAHP, AAH, ARMA or NHCA) Prior experience in a clinical or outpatient setting preferred Familiarity with EPIC a plus! Palliative or Hospice experience would be ideal Charge nurse experience could also be a plus!
