Provide comprehensive rehabilitative care, including diagnosis and treatment, to improve mobility and reduce pain for service members and veterans. Supervise and train other healthcare professionals while maintaining clinical standards and required credentials.
Requires an M.D. or D.O. degree, ACGME-accredited residency completion, and board certification by the ABPMR. Candidates must have at least one year of PM&R experience in the last two years and a valid US state medical license.
One year experience in the last two years prior to contract execution as a PM&R Physician. Time in residency does not count towards one year of experience.
Contract workers requiring licensure shall have and maintain a current, valid, unrestricted license specific to the position (with no limitations, stipulations or pending adverse actions) in one of the 50 US States and/or territories. Additional licenses held by a provider must be in good standing whether they are inactive, expired, or limit the provider’s practice to a military setting. The healthcare provider’s license(s) must remain current, valid, and unrestricted throughout the duration of the contract worker performance on the contract. NPI and DEA registration and the Contractor shall ensure these are renewed/remain current throughout the performance on the contract. Physical Demands Contract workers must be capable of lifting overhead 20 pounds, bending repetitively, Twist/turn at waist without restriction, no difficulty grasping/pulling.
Occupational Health: The contract worker shall be required to obtain documentation of required physical testing or a report of a physical examination. Tuberculosis Screening: The Contractor ensure contract workers shall be screened for tuberculosis (TB). In addition, contract worker will be screened prior to reporting for services at the place of performance for the following: N/A Health Requirements. The Contractor shall provide documentation certifying health requirements such as immunizations, annual vaccinations, and physical examination when required at the time of initial placement.
