The Patient Care Tech provides essential support services to ensure continuity of care and meets department goals. Responsibilities include assisting patients with personal hygiene, nutrition, elimination, and other delegated clinical tasks.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, with CNA or clinical experience preferred. Required certifications include BLS for Health Care Providers and completion of Point of Care Testing and Crisis Prevention training.
High school diploma or equivalent or higher education Basic keyboarding skills, preferred Clinical experience or CNA preferred Prior to independence from preceptor successful completion of: American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers, training included Point of Care Testing Equipment Orientation Crisis Prevention and Intervention/SAFE in 90 days
