$36.00 - $39.00 per hour
Additional pay differentials of $1.25 per hour for the PM shift and $1.50 per hour for the NOC shift

Who you are
- Current licensure by the California Board of Vocational Nurse and Psychiatric Examiners
- One year of experience as a Licensed Vocational Nurse in assisted living, long-term care- or a similar setting
- Strong communication, clinical, and leadership skills
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Job Summary
- We’re looking for a compassionate and dependable Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our assisted living team.
- In this role, you’ll provide basic therapeutic, restorative, and preventive care to residents while supporting their independence and overall well-being.
- You’ll collaborate with residents, families, physicians, and caregivers to implement individualized care plans and ensure the highest quality of care.
- The LVN also provides direction and supervision to care staff in accordance with community policies and state regulations.

- Essential Job Duties
- Advocating patience, cheerfulness and a positive work environment. Being patient, level headed and cool under pressure.
- Provides initial emergency medical response to residents needing assistance.
- Initiates and coordinates requests for emergency medical care, including contacting physicians, ordering emergency (911) or non-emergency ambulance transfers, and initial assessments of resident medical needs.
- Administers medications to residents as ordered.
- Administers treatments, including dressing changes, as ordered.
- Provides direct nursing care to residents within the guidelines of RCFE regulations and facility policy. Documents nursing care in support of planned outcomes.
- Consults with the Director of AL/SCR regarding desired patient outcomes and progress or lack of progress toward the outcomes.
- Identifies changes in resident status that interfere with the ability to meet basic needs. Identifies problems and reports to the Director of AL/SCR for modification of the plan of care.
- Observes and assesses effects of medications, reports findings to Director of AL/SCR and documents appropriately.
- Attends AL Department meetings as scheduled. Responsible for completion and e-mailing of shift report.
- Completes all online training scheduled by the Director of Staff Development and Director of AL/SCR. Assists in the effective operation of Casa de las Campanas and participates in relevant facility activities. Responsible for assisting Director in the evaluating of AL CNAs
- Orders and maintains medications.
- Keeps accurate maintenance of medical records.
- Assist with prepping paperwork for any discharge of residents from Health Center back to AL/SCR.
