The Nurse Practitioner is responsible for conducting physical exams, interpreting diagnostic tests, and managing overall patient health. They also serve as an educator for patients and clinicians while providing care in offices, external facilities, and homes.
Candidates must hold a valid Nurse Practitioner license, Driver's License, BLS/ACLS certifications, and active CDS and DEA licenses. Experience in primary, acute, and chronic care management is required.
Conduct detailed patient examinations and review medical history. Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as blood tests and X-rays. Diagnose health conditions based on a thorough evaluation of test results. Prescribe and manage medications. Maintain precise patient records and appointment schedules. Educate patients about their health conditions and the medications prescribed. Monitor and oversee the comprehensive health profile of each patient.
Advanced professional knowledge in a healthcare setting. Demonstrable experience as a Nurse Practitioner in environments such as clinics, hospitals, emergency rooms, etc. Proficiency in primary care, acute care, and chronic care management. Familiarity with health and patient care regulations. Outstanding communication skills. Strong ethical grounding. Ability to work cooperatively in a team setting with a positive attitude. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Commitment to continual education and clinical skill enhancement. Bilingual - English/Spanish preferred
