Must have completed state-required CNA/Hospice Aide training and hold a current CPR certification. Requires reliable transportation and a patient-first mindset for end-of-life care.

Why VitalCaring Meaningful Work – Provide comfort-focused care that truly impacts patients and families 1:1 Patient Care – Build real relationships in the home setting Supportive Team – Work alongside a collaborative hospice care team Flexible Scheduling – Options to fit your lifestyle (FT / PRN CORE / PRN FLEX) Growth & Stability – Training, development, and a team invested in your success What You’ll Do Provide Compassionate Personal Care Assist patients with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding) Support patient comfort through repositioning, mobility assistance, and skin care Assist with light housekeeping and maintaining a clean, safe environment Provide respite support for caregivers when needed Support Patient Comfort & Dignity Observe and report changes in patient condition to the RN/Case Manager Assist with basic vital signs and simple procedures as directed Support comfort-focused care aligned with hospice philosophy Respect patient and family preferences, routines, and environment Communicate & Collaborate Document care accurately and timely Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients, families, and team members Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical standards What You Bring Completion of state-required CNA/Hospice Aide training (CNA certification if required by state) Current CPR certification Ability to read, follow instructions, and document care Strong compassion and comfort working with end-of-life patients Reliable transportation and ability to travel between patient homes A patient-first mindset with respect for dignity and quality of life
