$36 - $48 / HOUR
Assists surgeons and registered nurses by preparing and managing sterile equipment and instruments. Responsible for preparing patients for surgical procedures and ensuring a sterile environment.
Requires graduation from an accredited surgical technology or LPN program, or one year of experience as a scrub tech. Must hold certification from NBSTSA or NCCT, or be a licensed LPN in Minnesota, and possess current BLS certification.
The Surgical Technologist/Scrub Assistant (ST/SA) practices under the direction of the Registered Nurse and Surgeon. This role assists with surgical procedures by preparing, managing sterile equipment/instruments, and preparing patients for surgery. The ST/SA must have a strong understanding of surgical technology and procedure.
