Provides technical support to CRNAs and Anesthesiologists to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of anesthesia. Delivers care to patients of all ages during the perioperative experience under direct supervision.
Requires a High School Diploma or GED and BLS certification from the American Heart Association. Candidates should have basic patient care knowledge and less than one year of healthcare experience, though one year of anesthesia technician experience is preferred.
The Anesthesia Technician II is a member of the Anesthesia department who provides technical support to the CRNA and/or Anesthesiologist in order to facilitate the delivery of safe and efficient anesthesia. The Anesthesia Technician II delivers care to patients of all ages, striving toward improving the performance of clinical activities during selected periods of the Perioperative experience under the direct supervision of the CRNA or Anesthesiologist.
