The role involves performing independent research projects and managing the husbandry and colony maintenance of mice and zebrafish. Responsibilities include executing molecular biology techniques, analyzing data, and contributing to scientific manuscripts and grant documentation.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Candidates must be proficient in basic laboratory skills, computer applications, and comfortable handling animal models.
Experience with mouse models desired, as well as knowledge of genetics, basic developmental biology, molecular pharmacology and/or neurobiology also desired. Meticulously organized, detail oriented, independent, and possess strong problem-solving abilities. Additional Details The ideal candidate will be able to commit to 2 years in the role after hire.
