The Staff Occupational Therapist performs patient evaluations and implements specific treatment programs based on occupational therapy principles. They collaborate with the treatment team and provide supervision to COTAs and OTS students.
Candidates must hold a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy and be licensed in the State of California. Certification by the National Board of Occupational Therapy and a current AHA BCLS card are required.
The Staff Occupational Therapist performs evaluations of patient under the referral of a physician. Plans and implements plans and implements specific treatment programs for individuals according to the principles and practices of occupational therapy. Collaborates with the treatment team. Provides supervision and direction for the Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) and Occupational Therapy Student (OTS) when applicable. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy. Certification by the National Board of Occupational Therapy. Licensed as an Occupational Therapist in the State of California. Current BCLS Card (AHA)
