Cordial Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatry Nurse Practitioner to join our team. We are a leading healthcare organization providing comprehensive mental health services out a private practice in Yonkers, NY. Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments of elderly patients. Diagnose and develop individualized treatment plans based on the patient's mental health needs. Provide medication management and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, psychologists, and social workers, to ensure holistic patient care. Offer counseling and psychotherapy services to patients and their families. Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and self-care strategies. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with organizational and regulatory standards. Participate in clinical meetings, case conferences, and quality improvement initiatives.

Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of New York with specialization in Psychiatry (PMHNP). Ability to work independently and effectively manage a caseload of patients. Strong diagnostic skills and knowledge of psychiatric medications and treatment modalities. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to establish rapport with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members. Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer skills. Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
