Job description

Join Baylor Scott and White Medical Center – Irving as a Registered Nurse and be part of something better!
Emergency Department 3 Night shifts per week 7p-7a Patient Population: All ages, acuities, and stages of life.
Direct patient care and documentation of patients presenting to ED with variety of complaints, triage, main sections with higher acuity, Express care/fast track with lower acuity/clinic type patients.
Staff rotate to various areas based on experience and training.
Patient Ratios: 4:1 Number of Beds: 55 Department Specifics: Currently seeking Level III Trauma designation, Primary Stroke Center, Primary Chest Pain Center, wonderful EMS partnership, Radiology with CT and Sono within ED, Self-Scheduling with voluntary on call, Certified Emergency Nurse fees paid, Evidence Based Practice and Process Improvement projects ongoing, Trauma training, Express Care/fast track with lower acuity/clinic type patients, Staff rotate to various areas based on experience and training.

Registered Nurse Requirements · Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program · License/Certification o RN – Registered Nurse with min of 1 year ED Experience · BLS – Basic Life Support (required within 30 days of hire) · ENPC and TNCC Baylor Scott & White Health is the most awarded system in Texas!
