As a Locum NP/PA in Cardiology, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating patients with cardiovascular conditions. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver patient-centered care and ensure optimal health outcomes. Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations Diagnose and treat cardiovascular conditions Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to develop patient care plans Perform routine check-ups and follow-up care Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records Participate in quality improvement initiatives Stay current with advancements in cardiology and related practices
Associate degree in Nursing or relevant field Valid NP or PA certification and state licensure Experience in cardiology or related medical field is preferred Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous learning
Schedule: 12-hour night shifts
Shift Information: 7p-7a
Duties: Rounding, daily progress notes, admissions, new consults, discharges, ordering medications and tests
Mostly step-down and cardiology unit patients
EMR: Cerner
Must be board-certified
