• Unified Mammography Services is seeking Mammography Technologists for its Mammography offices at affiliated practices in the DMV area.
• The Mammography Technologists will perform 3D digital mammography to assist in the diagnosis of disease in the OBGYN office.
• The ideal candidate must have good knowledge and understanding of mammography.
• Must be able to work independently without supervision and have excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ensures a high level of quality and service is delivered to all organizational customers.
• We are seeking Mammography Technologists for full-time, part-time, or per diem positions in the DMV Area (Metro D.C., Baltimore, Northern Virginia).
• Work Schedule: Monday-Friday

Responsibilities

• Perform mammography imaging and quality control procedures.
• Ensure proper functioning of mammography equipment and address any malfunctions.
• Maintain meticulous attention to detail during all procedures.
• Communicate with radiologists regarding mammographic exams.
• Responsible for applying analytical skills to interpret mammographic images, assess quality, and verify patient information.
• Accurately complete all patient information requirements and necessary paperwork.
• Complete administrative tasks to ensure timely exam interpretation.
• Complete necessary medical records, including consents, billing, and supply monitoring.
• Ensure timely delivery of mammography results, escalating to management or a radiologist when results exceed standard turnaround times.
• Support the manager in maintaining MQSA and ACR requirements.
• Adhere to and maintain continuing education requirements mandated by MQSA.
• Additional Job Functions: All other job requests as assigned by the Mammography Operations Manager, Director of Imaging Operations, or Care Center Administrator.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or completion of an accredited Radiologic Sciences Program.
• ARRT Registration R.T.(R) Required.
• ARRT Certification in Mammography (M) Required.
• State Department of Radiation Control License (if applicable).
• Maintain registry status and continuing education.
• Minimum two years of mammography experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English as required by job duties.
• Must be able to understand and follow safety instructions provided in English.
• Role requires reading and writing in English to complete documentation, reports, and compliance requirements.
• Ability to interact with customers, clients, or regulators in English as needed.

Compensation Minimum

USD $40.00/Hr. Compensation Maximum

USD $50.00/Hr.
