The Lab Assistant is responsible for collecting, preparing, and processing various patient specimens for diagnostic testing. They also manage laboratory workflow, handle send-out testing to external labs, and maintain professional communication with hospital departments.
Candidates must be a high school graduate or have a GED and obtain Basic Life Support (CPR) certification within 90 days. Preferred qualifications include a Lab Assistant or Phlebotomy certificate and six months of experience in an acute care facility.
