Provide individual and group counseling services to adult clients with co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders in a residential setting. Manage the full clinical cycle including assessments, treatment planning, crisis intervention, and discharge planning.
Requires licensure as a Clinical Social Worker, Professional Counselor, or Marriage and Family Therapist. Must have experience working with individuals with Substance Use Disorders and knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic practices.

We are seeking a compassionate, organized, and clinically skilled Therapist to join our DHS 75 licensed residential substance use and mental health treatment program. The Therapist will provide individual and group counseling services to adult clients with co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders in a structured residential setting. This position plays a key role in supporting clients through assessment, treatment planning, therapeutic interventions, crisis management, and discharge planning while working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary treatment team. Essential Functions Facilitate individual therapy sessions using evidence-based practices Conduct psychoeducational and process groups for clients in residential treatment Complete biopsychosocial assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with DHS 75 standards and agency policies Develop individualized treatment goals in collaboration with clients and the treatment team Monitor client progress and update treatment plans as needed Coordinate care with case managers, prescribers, probation agents, family members, and outside providers when appropriate Respond appropriately to client crises and behavioral health emergencies Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation within the electronic health record Participate in staff meetings, clinical supervision, and treatment team consultations Support a therapeutic and recovery-oriented residential environment Ability to be flexible with on-call and family group rotation and to meet the needs of individuals served QualificationsQualifications Licensure as a Clinical Social Worker, Professional Counselor, or Marriage and Family Therapist AND Experience working with individuals with Substance Use Disorders Knowledge of trauma-informed care, motivational interviewing, CBT, DBT, and recovery-oriented practices Strong clinical documentation and organizational skills Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
