Medication Technician

Our Medication Technicians play a vital role in ensuring that residents receive safe, compassionate, and person-centered care every day.

As a Medication Technician, you won’t simply assist with medications — you’ll help maintain a safe and nurturing environment while supporting residents’ daily health and comfort. You’ll work closely with licensed nurses and care staff to administer medications, observe residents’ conditions, document changes, and communicate with residents and families as needed. Your attentiveness and dedication will help create a community where residents feel valued, supported, and cared for.

• We offer paid on the job training and med pass certification! $18.25 is the starting pay and once you pass our medication class after approximately 30 days of on-the-floor orientation, there is an increase to $20.25. Opportunities for continued education to earn up to $24/hour!

In this role you will

• Distribute medication and provides treatments, personal care and assists with activities of daily living for elderly residents
• Order medications. Stores, distributes and documents all prescription and over the counter medication given to residents per protocols and as ordered by the physician
