The Endodontist is responsible for diagnosing and treating endodontic conditions through surgical and nonsurgical procedures for patients of all ages. Duties include performing pulpal diagnoses, utilizing rubber dam isolation, and collaborating with physicians for systemic disease manifestations.
Candidates must hold a current CA State License to practice Dentistry and an ADA/CODA approved certification in endodontics. Required certifications include DEA registration, CPR, and CA radiation safety, with a preference for 2+ years of clinical experience.

SIHC Dentists provide the highest standard of dental care for SIHC patients. SIHC provides dental care to children, adolescents and adults. Treatment of dental conditions, injuries, malfunctions of the oral cavity and related issues occur by clinical examination, radiographs, and review of medical history.
Current CA State License to practice Dentistry. Completion of advance certification in endodontics which has been approved by the American Dental Association/Commission on Dental Accreditation. At least 2 years of experience in private or clinical practice is preferred. Public Health experience preferred. Experience with Nextgen computer system preferred. CA radiation safety certified. Current DEA Controlled Substance Registration is required. Current CPR Certification. Valid Driver’s License. Must be at least 18 years old.
A valid driver’s license required with application submission and must be maintained throughout employment. Current certifications and/or licenses appropriate to the position’s required education and profession.

Normal clinic/office environment. Sit or stand for long periods of time. Reach, bend, climb, stoop, lift up to 25 lbs., repetitive hand movement; use and view PC. Reliable transportation and car insurance as required by the state. Travel as needed.

One must have the ability to understand the implications and complexities of all compliance policies. Participation in all compliance training is mandatory, and generally has a heightened awareness of policies and regulations that are specific to one’s department and position. All SIHC employees are expected to report violations or suspected violations of compliance policies or regulations.
Applicants must successfully pass a pre-screening tuberculin skin test or x-ray and a blood/urine drug screening test. Health must be adequate to perform all duties of the position. Applicant must complete SIHC Application and Authorization Form, both must be submitted to Human Resources prior to the close date indicated.
