Provide compassionate daily living support and companionship for a male client with mobility impairments. Responsibilities include performing wheelchair transfers and transporting the client to various community outings and appointments.
Candidates should have previous caregiving or behavioral support experience and be comfortable working around dogs. A current CPR/First Aid certification is required or must be obtained.
Description We are looking for a reliable and compassionate Caregiver to support a male client who requires assistance with daily activities and transportation. Responsibilities Include: Driving client to appointments, church, senior center, and other outings Assisting with wheelchair transfers and transitions (client has no mobility in his legs) Providing support with daily living activities as needed Ensuring safety, comfort, and companionship during outings and at home Must be comfortable assisting with wheelchair transfers Experience working with mobility-impaired clients preferred Reliable, patient, and professional
Experience with transfers or willingness to be trained Comfort working around dogs Reliable, patient, and friendly Ability to maintain client privacy and dignity at all times
