Job Summary We are seeking a Part Time Hybrid Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Child Psychiatrist to join our expanding behavioral health team.
The psychiatrist will provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and medication management for children and adolescents.
The role includes both in-person sessions at our Bronx locations and telepsychiatry visits, offering flexibility and support through a hybrid model.
Responsibilities
Conduct psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment plans for patients under 18 Provide ongoing medication management and follow-up care Collaborate with psychologists, therapists, primary care providers, and school-based staff Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system Participate in care coordination and case conferences as part of an integrated care model Support program development for pediatric and adolescent mental health services
Qualifications
MD or DO with Board Certification or Eligibility in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Active and unrestricted New York State medical license DEA license and Suboxone waiver (or willingness to obtain) 3 years of experience working with diverse pediatric populations Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to care Comfortable using telehealth platforms and hybrid models of service
