The Mental Health Clinician provides critical behavioral health services to adults and youth by utilizing clinical expertise and psychological theories to assess, diagnose, and treat individuals with behavioral health needs. This role is responsible for developing and implementing treatment plans, completing psychotherapy progress notes, conducting assessments, and preparing discharge summaries. The Clinician facilitates both group and individual therapy sessions and collaborates with other treatment providers to ensure comprehensive, coordinated care. Clients entering Intensive Outpatient Programming (IOP) often struggle with emotional regulation and relationship building, and the Clinician plays a key role in supporting their progress toward improved coping and healthy relationship skills. The Clinician attends supervision and staff meetings while adhering to payor, company, and HIPAA standards.
· Provide individual and group therapy for adults and youth · Conduct clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans · Complete psychotherapy progress notes and discharge summaries · Implement, review, and update treatment plans based on client progress · Utilize evidence-based psychological theories and interventions · Collaborate with treatment providers to coordinate client care · Support clients with behavioral health diagnoses to promote stability and success · Facilitate Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) services · Assist clients in developing emotional regulation and healthy relationship skills · Participate in clinical supervision and staff meetings · Maintain compliance with payor requirements, company policies, and HIPAA standards · Provide referrals and connect clients with community mental health resources as appropriate · Complete required documentation in a timely and accurate manner · Support crisis intervention and stabilization as needed Required Qualifications · Licensed in Idaho as LPC, LCPC, LMSW, or LCSW · Knowledge and experience utilizing psychological theories in clinical practice · Ability to pass background checks, including Enhanced Fingerprinting with Idaho Department of Health and Welfare (ID DHW) · Familiarity with community mental health resources preferred Compensation & Benefits · Part-time 30-35 hrs per week · $32-$34 per hr · $1,000
