Responsibilities

• & Duties:
• Patient Advocacy: Support patients in incorporating medical marijuana into their treatment plans.
• Comprehensive Evaluations: Conduct thorough assessments of patients for the medical cannabis program.
• Accurate Documentation: Maintain precise and up-to-date notes and medical records using our electronic medical records (EMR) system.

Requirements

• Licensing: Valid Nurse Practitioner (NP) license to practice in Mississippi. Preferably already Cannabis certified in Mississippi.
• Certification: DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) and Controlled Substance License.
• Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using technology, specifically our in-house EMR system (training will be provided).

Job Type

Contract - Our current provider is going on maternity leave in June/July. This position would be temporary but with the potential to be permanent depending on if they current provider decides to come back.
