Requires an MD or DO degree with board certification or eligibility in Allergy and Immunology and an active North Carolina medical license. Candidates should possess strong clinical skills and a commitment to community health, preferably with experience in rural settings.
Description JOB SUMMARY This role focuses on the diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients with allergic and immunologic conditions. The ideal candidate is committed to providing high-quality, patient centered care in a collaborative and community-focused environment.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with allergies, asthma, and related immunologic disorders Perform and interpret diagnostic tests, including skin prick testing, patch testing, and pulmonary function tests Develop individualized treatment plans, including immunotherapy and medication management Educate patients and families on disease management, prevention strategies, and environmental controls Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with organizational and regulatory standards Collaborate with primary care providers and other specialists to ensure coordinated care Stay current with advancements in allergy and immunology practices
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree Board certification or eligibility in Allergy and Immunology Active and unrestricted medical license in North Carolina Strong clinical and diagnostic skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Commitment to patient-centered care and community health
Experience in a rural or community health setting Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems E-Clinical Works Interest in patient education and outreach initiatives PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
