Pre-Authorization Specialist

CCP specializes in providing comprehensive cardiology care and currently has over 30 locations throughout the Philadelphia region. We are currently hiring for a full time Pre-Authorization/Pre-Certification Specialist to work at our West Chester, PA office.

Please note this role is entitled to a $500 sign on bonus.*

Responsibilities

• The Precertification Specialist will be held accountable for obtaining prior authorization/precertification of all testing procedures performed in the office.
• Obtain prior authorizations/pre-certifications for all office testing and procedures including:
• Echocardiograms
• Nuclear stress tests
• Stress echocardiograms
• Home sleep studies
• Vascular testing
• Ensure prior authorization/pre-certifications are obtained in a timely fashion for all scheduled testing (1 week prior)
• Ensure all add-on and same day testing procedures have proper authorization prior to being performed
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must have experience in a medical office setting
• Must have knowledge of different insurances
• Must have the ability to multitask
• Computer knowledge is a must
• Experience with an EMR system is a plus
• Must be well spoken, friendly, and outgoing

*If you are hired, and assuming your employment is in good standing, you will receive the sign-on bonus. The bonus will be paid to you no later than 30 days following your start date. In the event that you voluntarily terminate your employment or the Company terminates your employment for cause within 6 months of your date of hire, you will be required to repay the full amount of your sign-on bonus.
