The Scheduling Coordinator manages daily staffing, office coordination, and the completion of weekly payroll and attendance records. They act as a resource for staffing software and collaborate with Clinical Managers to ensure efficient staff utilization based on patient census.
Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED and 1 to 2 years of related experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong communication skills are required for data entry and interpersonal coordination.
Ability to utilize PC skills, including Microsoft Office, for correspondence and data entry. Effective written, oral and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to organize and prioritize work in required time frame and desired outcomes. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Coordinates assigned areas to ensure smooth daily office support operations inclusive of staffing office schedules. Assists staffing coordinators promoting continuing improvement. Acts as resource to users for ANSOS-Onestaff. Assists with training of CMs/Section Assistants, etc. Updates matrices as needed. Prepares and distributes statistical reports. Accurately enters data for the census report. Performs any related clerical/secretarial duties that may include reports, ordering of supplies for nursing units, and any other related support function as requested by Clinical Managers in an accurate and timely manner. Proactive review of existing schedules to determine future staffing needs and reviews with Clinical Manager. Assesses daily staffing and adjusts staffing as needed to effectively and efficiently utilize staff as census indicates. Collaborates with Clinical Manager regarding calls to be made for obtaining additional staff when needed. Completes weekly payroll which entails reviewing time and attendance and correcting time as indicated on weekly hand entry sheets. Enters charge pay, no lunches, tardies, orientation, and education. Enters all tardies into Ansos. Performs any related support functions as needed to ensure smooth workflow process. Other duties as required.- i.e. working during Inclement Weather.
