Where You’ll Work Penrose-St. Francis Health Services is a full-service, 712-bed acute care provider in Colorado Springs comprising Penrose Hospital, St. Francis Hospital and St Francis Hospital - Interquest. St. Francis Hospital opened in 2008 to keep pace with the growing needs of the Colorado Springs' community on the north side of the city. St. Francis Hospital features 340-beds and offers a modern Birth Center, Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Cancer Center, Emergency Department, Level III Trauma Center, Imaging Services, Acute Inpatient Rehab, Surgical Services and Critical Care Unit. It also serves as southern Colorado's home base for the Flight For Life Colorado air medical transport service. In this role as a Physical Therapist (PT), you will be responsible for a continuum of services providing care to patients with neuromuscular, orthopedic and other physically-related disorders requiring mobility training, strengthening, modalities, specialized manual therapy and neuromuscular reeducation. As a Physical Therapist you will also utilizes rehab process to promote and restore optimal health and well-being of the patient. While in this position you will assume personal accountability for organizational mission and core values. Qualified external Physical Therapist applicants are eligible for a $10,000 sign-on bonus! Depending on your location, you may be eligible for relocation assistance. Job Requirements In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified Physical Therapist candidates will need the following: Previous work experience providing direct patient care in outpatient, inpatient or inpatient rehab unit preferred Prior use of electronic medical records (EMR), preferred Bachelor Degree in Physical Therapy required Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy, preferred Current Colorado state licensure as a Physical Therapist required BLS through the American Heart Association required Dry Needling Certification or Education preferred Only required if performing the Dry Needling function: Dry Needling Certification or Education. Physical Requirements-Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly
Schedule: Every Saturday required (weekend premium for applicable hours), plus 1–2 weekdays per week.- Shift Length: Flexible; either 8-hour or 10-hour shifts.- Requirements: Holiday rotation is required.
