Develop and implement dietary-care plans and provide nutritional counseling to patients in a behavioral health setting. Collaborate with medical teams to manage disease and promote health through expert nutrition and food service oversight.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Dietetics or Nutrition and current Registered Dietician licensure. Experience with eating disorders and substance use is strongly preferred, along with ServSafe certification.
Serve as expert in the use of food and nutrition to promote health and manage disease.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited University in Dietetics, Nutrition or similar field acceptable for licensure. Experience with Eating Disorders and Substance use strongly preferred in facilities working with those patient populations. LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS: Current registered dietician or registration as required by state or eligible for endorsement by the state in which the facility provides services. ServSafe certification or similar food safety certification where required by the state or facility.
