The RN plans, implements, and evaluates patient care to achieve optimal wound healing outcomes. Responsibilities include monitoring patient conditions, implementing physician orders, and educating patients and families on wound care processes.
Candidates must hold a valid Registered Nursing license and CPR certification from the American Heart Association. An associate degree in nursing is required, with a bachelor's degree required for Magnet Hospitals.
Monday - Friday schedule, no weekends Internal ongoing educational/training opportunities Competitive compensation Continuous coaching & mentorship What You’ll Do: Provide patient care based on scientific principles/nursing theory and evidence-based practice Recognize change in the patient’s condition and intervene appropriately Prioritize nursing actions including reflecting patient needs, acuity, and desired outcomes Implement physician orders accurately within appropriate time frames Educate and counsel patients and their families on wound care processes and issues
