Reporting to the Director, Clinical Development and Site Engagement, this position will be responsible for supporting all dietary needs across the clinical development program. This may include study specific menu, site and patient facing dietary support references and general dietary feedback in protocol designs. In addition, the Dietician will work alongside the Site Engagement team. Interactions with vendors and other external support that may be planned as part of protocol execution and relevant to dietary needs will be required. This position also works closely with research coordinators, investigators, and study teams to provide site level participant support, address concerns, and implement engagement strategies that encourage continued participation in clinical studies. Job Responsibilities: Build menus for inpatient trials and support sites with questions regarding nutrition/diet associated with the clinical trial protocols Develop and implement study materials, relative to the role. Building and maintaining relationships with study teams, sites, CROs, and vendors that support trial retention efforts. Extend the company connection to advocacy groups and other organizations that support retention in clinical trials and growth in the role’s expertise. Work with Site Engagement Leads and Retention Specialists to extend the teams capabilities as needed.
Master of Science in Dietetics with 6 years of related experience. A Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics and/or Nutrition will be considered with adequate and relevant experience (8+ yrs). Active State registration/licensure is an asset. Extensive experience in chronic weight management/diabetes/metabolic diseases required Dietary support related to GLP1 use required Deep understanding of the clinical trial process and the ability to develop and implement successful dietary tools to support participant experience Strong analytical skills with experience in understanding trial metrics, analyzing trends and adjusting to meet goals in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach Capable of managing multiple timelines while working with cross-functional groups Attention to detail and organizational Travel Required: Willingness to travel to clinical research sites, investigator meetings and other initiatives as needed. If applicant will be hybrid (resides in San Francisco area), travel will be approximately 20%. If applicant is remote, travel will be approximately 40%.
