PET/CT Technologists are responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using radiopharmaceuticals and equipment like PET scanners to create images of internal body functions and structures. Key duties involve preparing and administering radioactive drugs, ensuring patient safety and comfort, operating imaging equipment, and maintaining all necessary safety protocols.
Candidates must possess an active NJDEP State License and CPR Certification, along with a minimum of two years of experience in the field. Required certifications include ARRT(CT) or NMTCB/CT for Fusion Modality, and ARRT(N) or NMTCB(N) Certification.
University Radiology Group is currently seeking a Full-Time Float PET/CT Technologist. Our PET/CT Technologists perform diagnostic imaging procedures using radiopharmaceuticals and imaging equipment, such as PET scanners, to create images of the body's internal functions and structures. Key responsibilities include preparing and administering radioactive drugs to patients, ensuring patient safety and comfort, operating imaging equipment, and maintaining equipment and radiation safety protocols. This position is based in our East Brunswick, NJ Imaging Office and also cover shifts in Edison and Nutley, New Jersey. Monday - Friday (shift times will vary based on need) *May be required to perform duties in or near areas containing specialized imaging equipment and must be able to adhere to all department and facility safety protocols.
